Swing Catch Retrofit & Locking Collar Plate
1) Starting January of 1996, the SL-27 and the 17C will ship with a new swing catch in place of the tongue catch. The catch allows the diver quicker, easier removal of the helmet. For retrofit upgrades for the SL-27 order part #525-106, for the 17C order part #525-135.
Diving Systems encourages anyone diving a SuperLite 17C or 27 Helmet with the original hard mounted "Tongue Catch" to upgrade to the "Swing Catch".
2) Starting January of 1996, the locking collar on all SL 17C and SL 27 Helmets will be chrome.
