Effective immediately, all new Kirby Morgan® Air Control Systems 5s (Part #400-046) that include a communicator will be shipping with a new model of communicator (Part #415-105). The new communicator has the same weight and functionality as the previous model and this change does not affect the price. This change was made in an effort to improve delivery time for this product.
The only distinctive difference between this model and the prior unit is the toggle switches used for the push-to-talk functions have been replaced by a button. We believe that this unit also provides better intelligibility and that you will find it more user friendly.
Service is still available if you have older KMACS 5 systems with the prior communicator model. For questions, please contact the sales department at KMDSI.
