Effective October 15, 2000, all SuperLite 27 Helmets are being manufactured with the same communications assembly as the SuperLite 17K. Part #'s are as follows:

The part numbers above will fit all SuperLite 27's regardless of age.
Note:
The original comm assemblies for the SuperLite 27, 515-015 and 515-016, will remain available as current stock allows. These original comm assemblies are still suit- able for use on all SuperLite 27 helmets, new or old.
The major difference between the newer 'K' assemblies and the original 27 assemblies is that the 'K' type has a longer mic wire which routes the mic to the opposite side of the oral nasal mask (simply swap the oral nasal valve assembly with the microphone). The 'K' type also has a metal packing gland instead of a plastic pigtail
