Shipping soon! A newly redesigned earphone assembly with the following features & improvements:
An all plastic speaker housing with gold plated screws & inserts – these materials are extremely corrosion resistant!
An outer, clear/semi-translucent cover that allows for a quick visual check for moisture. New cover set part number 510-842 (front and back covers). The new covers WILL NOT fit the previous earphone speakers 515-008.
An inner, black cover with a molded in “pigtail” wire strain relief.
The wires are secured to the earphone with screws- no more soldering. (Note: The earphone wire gauge is smaller than on our previous earphones. The new covers will not fit the previous, larger gauge wires or earphones). The smaller gauge wire allows much improved flexibility as well as more clearance in tight areas.
This unit has better sound quality as well as greater durability & longer service life!
