Effective December 15, 2006, the rear hinge tab (545-013) on the SuperLite-17B will change from a welded part to a single piece of stainless steel cut by a water jet (540-157). This new fabrication process will allow faster production, yet still provide a part with the same functionality and strength as the original hinge tab.

The old style hinge tab (545-013) is no longer available and is replaced by the new fabrication, 540-157.
