Discontinuance of “A” Side Block Assembly, P/N 505-022

All helmets and band masks

Effective immediately, Kirby Morgan Dive Systems, Inc. has discontinued production of the Model “A” Side Block, KMDSI Part #550-026 and the “A” Side Block Assembly, KMDSI Part #505-022, for all helmets and band masks. This design dates back to the early 1970s and has been replaced by the more popular “B” side block, KMDSI Part #505-024, which utilizes the bent tube design.

The Regulator Hose with O-Rings, KMDSI Part #555-152 continues to be available as a spare part.

The “B” block will fit on all helmets and masks that previously used the “A” block. To make this conversion, the customer will need to order the following items:

• 1 ea. 550-029 “B” Side Block Body

• 1 ea. 555-155 Bent Tube Assembly

• 1 ea. 550-050 Jam Nut

• 1 ea. 550-048 “B” Inlet Nipple
