The Quad Valve™ makes use of the existing main exhaust body on the Kirby Morgan® 17K helmet, as well as model KM 37, and the SuperLite-17A/B. (A separate version will be available for the SuperLite®-27.)The system will not work on the SuperLite®-17C, or any model of Kirby Morgan Band Mask®. The Band Mask® will only accept the Tri-Valve® Exhaust at this time. The 17C is not designed to accept the Tri-Valve™ or Quad Valve™.
WARNING: The Quad Valve™ is recommended for diving in biologically contaminated water only. The chemical compatibility of this exhaust system has NOT been tested at this time, so no recommendations are made regarding environments polluted with hazardous chemicals. Prior to diving in contaminated water, the diver must be properly trained and equipped, and a proper dive plan, including provisions for decontamination following the dive, must be formulated. Failure to follow these precautions could result in serious injury or death |

This kit, Part # 525-130, is designed to allow the alteration of the trim, or balance of the SuperLite 17/MK 21 diving helmet. It adds 2 lbs. to the overall weight of the helmet. The weight replaces the exhaust body cover with no obstruction of the exhaust port. The weight is designed to blend in to the contours of the helmet with nothing that would hang up or become snagged while working.
THIS WEIGHT IS NOT FOR USE WITH THE DOUBLE EXHAUST!

The chin weight of the SL-27 has been removed and a side weight added. This brings improved balance to the helmet as well as providing an accessory ( lights, cameras, etc.) mounting area. There are four 10-24 threaded holes with screws on the weight for this purpose. As of 8/15/95, these parts are "standard" on all SuperLite-27 helmets.
For retrofitting older helmets, order
Weight Kit Part # 525-220.

This catch, Part # 505-010, standard on all SL-17 Helmets, allows the yoke to be dropped without breaking the seal of the neck clamp. The hole pattern in the Pull Pin Latch Catch Body is identical to the Push Pin Latch Catch Body and mounts on the yoke the same. However the screws provided with the Pull Pin Latch Catch are longer than the original mount screws. The Push Pin Latch Catch screws should not be used to mount the Pull Pin Latch Catch Body.
The earlier style Push Pin Latch Catch DSI # 505-015 is now obsolete
